Birthday girl Cheryl Cole is lavished with treats as she arrives at X Factor auditions with husband Ashley. Cheryl Cole rang in her 26th Birthday birthday at the X Factor auditions in Birmingham today and her special day did not go unnoticed. The Girls Aloud star arrived at the venue with her footballer husband Ashley Cole who was carrying one of her many gifts. The brunette also received a huge bunch of flowers, thought to be a treat from the Chelsea star. Cheryl, dressed in a tiny orange mini skirt, with an unbuttoned purple shirt and dark brown Christian Louboutin heels, looked thrilled to be lavished with attention for the day. She smiled and waved happily at waiting fans before heading inside the venue with Xtra Factor presenter Holly Willoughby. It’s the second time that Ashley has arrived on the set with his wife on her birthday in as many years. The 28-year-old accompanied Cheryl into work during filming last year. The gesture came six months after the pair’s marriage was rocked by claims that he had cheated on her with hairdresser Aimee Walton. However 18 months after the alleged incident, the pair’s relationship seems stronger than ever. In an interview with British Vogue magazine this year, Cheryl recalled the tabloid reports about his alleged infidelity 'horrendous'. She said: 'But look, Ashley's young and he's got a young mentality - for his age anyway. 'He's learning. He has a beautiful soul, he's a really nice guy and I'm not stupid, you know. I'm really not. 'I know what I'm doing. I've had enough knocks in the past to know what the circumstances are, and I'm happy. If other people aren't, then that's their problem.' BEAMING birthday girl Cheryl Cole waved at fans at today's X Factor auditions. The Girls Aloud singer carried a huge bunch of flowers - though to be a 26th birthday present from footballer husband Ashley Cole - as she arrived for the auditions in Birmingham. The Chelsea player accompanied the X Factor judge who was dressed in an orange mini skirt, purple shirt and heels. An ecstatic Cheryl waved at fans before entering the International Convention Centre with Xtra Factor presenter Holly Willoughby. A grinning Dannii Minogue arrived looking equally leggy in a short black dress, strappy shoes and a white top. While the two female judges rocked the glamorous look, Louis Walsh and boss Simon Cowell were more restrained. Louis arrived dressed jeans and trainers, while Cowell stuck to jeans and a t-shirt. Cheryl Cole showed off her legs in a blue and white striped mini today as she arrived at the Birmingham X Factor auditions today. The brunette looked fantastic in the tiny skirt which she matched with a dark blue vest, sunglasses and 6 inch bright red heels. The 25-year-old’s fashion choices brought her as much attention as her judging skills during the ITV reality show competition last year and this time round she is showing no signs of disappointing as the open auditions continue. The wife of Chelsea star Ashley Cole waved to fans waiting outside the venue before heading inside where was joined by co-judges Simon Cowell, Dannii Minogue and Louis Walsh. Earlier this week Cheryl came face to face with another former rival when a singer from failed pop group One True Voice auditioned for the show. Daniel Pearce sailed through to the next round after performing his versions of Seal's 1994 hit Kiss From A Rose. Girls Aloud battled it out with the band during Popstars: The Rivals and beat them to become Christmas No 1 in 2002 - and despite One True Voice getting to No 2, they were dropped by their record label and split up. The singer was said to have been given a standing ovation by Cheryl, who told him: "I always thought you were fantastic." All four judges voted him through and Simon blasted Louis for ‘letting Daniel go’. However, the Irishman quickly pointed out that he had managed Girls Aloud while Pete Waterman looked after the boy band. The GIRLS ALOUD babe soaked up the rays poolside with sun lounger buddy LADY VICTORIA HERVEY before cooling off in the water. The unlikely pair had a good old chinwag as they sipped bevvies and smoked cigarettes. Nadine also reportedly enjoyed a bit of a flirt with the male guests at the hotel she was staying at, asking them which clubs they were planning to party at. Girls Aloud singer Nicola Roberts and boyfriend Charlie Fennell seemed to be doing a Posh-and-Becks-style his and hers at Glastonbury yesterday. The long term couple were both sporting the de rigueur black Hunter wellies as they relaxed in the sun. Their boots looked pristine and like they'd only just come out of the box even though the festival ground has become very muddy in the rain. The red-haired star looked like she had only just arrived in a bright red patterned summer dress and perfectly manicured nails. They were not the £250 Jimmy Choo wellies seen on Pixie Geldof and Naomi Campbell however. The star looked healthier than earlier in the month when she was pictured looking painfully thin and drained after a gruelling three-month tour. Source: Daily Mail

Cheryl Cole wants rid of tattoo

Cheryl Cole is having a tattoo removed because it doesn't fit her image. The Girls Aloud singer is reportedly planning to undergo painful laser surgery to have the design around her thigh removed. A source said: "Cheryl feels like she has outgrown the tattoo and is worried it no longer fits with her image." Despite having consultations on removing the inking, the 'Biology' star - who is married to soccer player Ashley Cole - is not planning to have any of her other four more discreet designs treated. An insider explained: "Cheryl is happy with her other tattoos - particularly her 'Mrs Cole' inking at the back of her neck - and they're small enough not to be as obvious as the one on her thigh." Speaking about the design recently, Cheryl said: "You do daft things when you're young, don't you?" Cheryl isn't the only star to consider having her tattoos removed. Earlier this year, it was claimed Pamela Anderson wanted her body art treated because she feared they would become an "eyesore" as she gets older. A friend revealed: "Pamela is seeing the effects of age and hard living on her body. Her skin is getting soft. She feels like her tattoos are going to become eyesores. "She's not a kid anymore. THE biggest music stars on the planet are gearing up to release a Michael Jackson tribute single - and they're using Glasto to set it in motion. In fact Glastonbury became Jacksonbury as news of his death spread and top acts came together to talk - and plan Jacko's musical friends in the States have already started discussions with pop's big names - including Madonna, Britney Spears, Beyonce and Justin Timberlake - about the record. And Glasto stars the Black Eyed Peas (the band's will.i.am worked with him recently), Lady GaGa and Lily Allen are expected to join them. Girls Aloud babe Nicola Roberts told me the band were "devastated" - and committed them to the tribute. She said: "We're all huge Michael Jackson fans so it was upsetting. I would love to get involved in a tribute. I know Girls Aloud would all be up for it as we are all such big fans." Jacko's mates are also desperate to get Sir Paul McCartney to come on board as well. An insider on site told me: "Michael's friends in LA want him to be honoured with a huge charity single. It will be one of his biggest songs performed by the biggest music stars in the world. I can reveal the real reason why Cheryl and Ashley Cole pulled out of last weekend’s big WAG wedding. X-Factor judge Cheryl and her footballer husband were due to attend Carly Zucker and Joe Cole’s reception, but failed to show up. Says my source: ‘Ashley wanted to go to the wedding but Cheryl didn’t because she’s been told that if she wants to become a real A-lister, then she should steer clear of the WAG crowd. ‘They had a massive row but Cheryl got her way as usual. Joe and Carly had even booked a room for them in The Hempel hotel so they would be able to have a late night.’ Cheryl’s publicist said: ‘Cheryl had to work on her new album over the weekend. She is recording that at the same time as X Factor.’ Actress Scarlett Johansson has pulled out of a new TV series presented by Fearne Cotton and could be replaced by Cheryl Cole – if Fearne gets her way.
